IUS Participates in AGREEN Foundation's Leadership Development Workshop

The AGREEN Foundation recently organized a workshop on the 4th of August 2023 entitled "TOWARDS A DEVELOPED BANGLADESH – Thoughts and Preparation of the Youth" to foster leadership development among university students. The event saw enthusiastic participation from various institutions, including the Department of Business Administration at the International University of Scholars (IUS).
Distinguished speakers at the workshop included Dr. Atiur Rahman, the Ex-Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Emeritus Professor at the University of Dhaka, and Mr. Syed Alamgir, CEO of the FMCG division, Meghna Group of Industry. Both speakers shared their valuable insights and experiences with the attendees, who aspired to build their careers through effective leadership.
Mr. Syed Alamgir emphasized the significance of patience in achieving one's determined goals. He regarded patience as the secret key to success in any endeavour. On the other hand, Dr. Atiur Rahman stressed the importance of passion, describing it as the gateway to success. These two crucial elements, patience and passion, were highlighted as essential traits for succeeding in life.
The workshop witnessed active participation from the Department of Business Administration students at the International University of Scholars (IUS), alongside their esteemed senior teacher, Dr. Hasan K. K. The IUS aims to cultivate professionals who actively contribute to society's betterment. Students were delighted to participate in this enriching event, which provided valuable insights into building practical leadership skills and defining their path to success in their respective careers.
At IUS, one of the leading private universities in Bangladesh, students benefit from hands-on training during their academic sessions, which empowers them to develop professionalism and practical expertise.
The workshop was arranged by the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. J. Ali, who demonstrated his commitment to providing the DBA students with unique and beneficial learning opportunities.
