A HSC pass fake heart and medicine specialist doctor who took Tk 700 as fees from patients was arrested from a hospital at Napiter Pool area in Noakhali on Saturday.

After lynching by staffs of American Specialized Hospital, Nurul Islam was handed over to police.

He also used to carry out echocardiography tests alongside treatment of patients. But, he never studied in any medical college.

Md Gias Uddin, a stenographer of Civil Surgeon Office, filed a case against him with Sudharam Police Station at 11pm on the same day.

Md Anwarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sudharam Police Station, said Nurul Islam admitted himself as a fake doctor during police interrogation.
