To build a Smart Bangladesh, the government has initiated ICT training program for the people of most neglected and unprivileged transgender and third gender community in the country.
CodersTrust will serve as one of the subsidiaries to run the training programs.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, said, "I think the transgender/third-gender people will play a greater role in successfully creating a smart Bangladesh by being properly skilled. And in their journey, we've got CodersTrust with us.”
Speaking as the special guest on the occasion, Aziz Ahmad, Founder and Chairman of CodersTrust, said that transgender people of the country have come forward to develop their digital skills by breaking all barriers. And CodersTrust has the opportunity to contribute to their progress. This is a great achievement.
Aziz Ahmed announced that 100 members of the transgender community will be trained courtesy of CodersTrust.
Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Ranjit Kumar and President of Bandhu Welfare Society Saleh Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.
