Shanjay Kumar Mukherjee, a associate professor of the Public Administration Department of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, has been appointed as the new proctor of the university.

Nazrul University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Soumitra Shekhar appointed Shanjay Kumar Mukherjee today, additional director of Public Relations office, S M Hafizur Rahman confirmed this information to daily sun.

He said, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Act 2006, Article 15(1) of the first statute, he is appointed to this post until further orders.

He completed BSS and MSS degree in Public Administration from Dhaka University.
