The technical director of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Paul Smalley resigned due to lack of proper working environment.

He submitted his resignation letter to BFF on Saturday, acting general secretary of BFF Imran Hossain Tushar confirmed.

Last April, FIFA banned the former general secretary of BFF, Abu Naeem Sohag, on account of financial irregularities. Soon after, there were rumors that Smalley would resign.

BFF President Kazi Salauddin himself at a press conference informed, “Paul Smalley (BFF Technical Director) has informed me that he is no longer staying.”
