Three workers died as the sand-laden bulkhead capsized in the Arial Kha river in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur district on Monday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Md Masum Alam Khan, superintendent of Madaripur Police, said the bulkhead sank in the river around 4 pm.
Three workers of the bulkhead went missing during the incident.
On information, a team of river police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies from Char Kamarkandi area in the river.
