Chashi Nazrul Islam's last film gets censor board's clearance

Late noted filmmaker Chashi Nazrul Islam will remain an indispensable part of Bangladeshi film industry. This legendary director’s last film ‘Antorongo’ has recently received censor board’s clearance and is all set to hit the theaters soon.


Nazrul Islam started this film project in 2014 but he could not put it under the wraps due to his sudden death.


The film’s shooting took place in Dhaka and Bandarban.


However, the remaining work of this film has been completed and it also got the clearance from censor board. Fans from all across the country now await for the much-anticipated release of the film starring debutante Alisha Prodhan and actor Emon.


“This incredible film holds a lot of emotions. I consider myself very lucky that I stepped into Dhallywood with a film directed by Chashi sir. I’ve not witnessed such a legend in this industry. I’m blessed to have worked with a man this friendly and sincere,” said a grateful Alisha.


She hopes that Chashi Nazrul’s last film will be appreciated and receive accolades.
