'Team Eduassist' of BDU gets Tk 10 lakh grant from Bangabandhu Innovation Grant 2023

'Team Eduassist' consisting of Md Ayman Asif, Md Murad Hasan and KM Badruddoza of Education Technology Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU) received a grant of Tk 10 lakh from Bangabandhu Innovation Grant 2023 .
Out of 50 selected teams, 'Team Eduassist' was the only one from the undergraduate level and took the 5th place. It was published on July 17 where 52 startups were given a grant of Tk 7 crore.
Team 'EduAssist' is working for people and children with special needs in view of Fourth Industrial Revolution Education 4.0. Their main objective is to establish the concept of "Education for All" through the 'Eduassist' system. The 'EduAssist' system consists of a mobile application developed by them and a website. The team works to provide an easy learning environment especially for the hearing, speech and vision impaired who have no ability to hear, speak and see.
Prime Minister's Industrial Affairs Advisor Mr Salman F Rahman and Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak presented the award to the students.
BDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam congratulated the team 'EduAssist' for getting the grant.
