Bangladesh announces Eid-ul-Azha on June 29

Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest festival for Muslims after the Eid-ul-Fitr, will be celebrated in Bangladesh on June 29 as moon of the Zil Hajj month was sighted in the sky of the country this evening, a television report confirmed this information.
Pabna deputy director confirmed the moon sighting to the National Moon Sighting Committee at Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram in the capital Monday evening.
Religious Affairs Secretary Muhammad Abdul Hamid Zamaddar presided over the meeting.
