Chief of Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of police SM Ruhul Amin has said militants are dangerously active on social media sites.

Speaking as the prime discussant at a seminar on 'the role of mass media to prevent fundamentalism, militancy and violent extremism' held at Police Staff College at Mirpur in the capital on Monday, he revealed this.

Ruhul Amin, also additional inspector general of police, has said that the information extracted from the already militants is dangerous.

The radicals are drawing fresh members and carrying out their activities online, he added.
