Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Amtali upazila of the district Thursday.
The deceased were identified as trolley driver Sultan Munshi, 50, resident of Jharakhali village under Taltali upazila of the district and an unidentified woman,50.
In another accident, an unidentified woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Akanbari area of Amtali-Patuakhali road early on Thursday, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Amtali Police Station Siddiqur Rahman said.
Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Barguna Hospital morgue for post-mortem, he said.
