The much-awaited Boishakhi Mela, a vibrant cultural extravaganza, was successfully organised on May 8, 2023, at North South University (NSU) playground.
Organised by North South University Social Services Club (NSUSSC), the event brought together faculty members, departments, officials, and students, creating a platform to showcase our cultural heritage.
Highlights of the event included the esteemed presence of NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam, who inaugurated the event, infusing it with prestige and enthusiasm.
Participants explored an array of stalls featuring delicious foods, exquisite jewelry, traditional garments, and handicrafts, immersing themselves in the essence of our heritage.

Adding an international flair, a team from Kolkata University, India, joined us to learn about our culture and share their own. This cross-cultural exchange fostered understanding and strengthened ties between our institutions.
The Boishakhi Mela served as a bridge between communities and institutions, promoting unity and diversity.
"Our Boishakhi Mela was an outstanding celebration of our rich cultural tapestry. We witnessed the joy and enthusiasm in the faces of attendees as they immersed themselves in the festivities, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come" expressed Raju Ahmmed, General Secretary of NSUSSC.
