Prince William and Kate Middleton deliver pizzas to volunteers in Wales

Prince William and Kate Middleton became pizza deliverers during their outing in Wales, on Thursday, India Today reported.

The Prince and Princes of Wales travelled to the country, on April 27, to meet with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, who risk their lives helping to keep walkers and climbers on the nearby mountain range safe.

The Royal couple took part in several training activities, like rappelling, medical support exercises and a search dog rescue demonstration. They headed to Dowlais Rugby Club to meet members of the local community and ordered 22 pizzas for the volunteers.

Peter Morris, owner of the Little Dragon Pizza Van, who served the couple, told People, "The Princess asked if we make our own dough and said that they love making pizzas with their children," and added, "Making pizza for the future king and queen is surreal."

Prince William and Kate then delivered several pizza boxes to the volunteers at the club and interacted with them about their volunteer work.

Talking about how Prince William told him that he had heard of the Little Dragon Pizza Van felt "surreal".

"People come from far and wide — it's the quality of the food and the views," Morris said.

After wrapping up their royal engagements for the day in Wales, Prince William and Princess Kate stayed the night at a local bed and breakfast. Next week, they will join the family in celebrating King Charles III's coronation.

King Charles III's coronation along with his wife Camilla, the Queen Consort, will take place at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
