The government has declined sugar price in the month of Ramadan. The new price will come into effect from Saturday (tomorrow).

The declaration came following an official order of the Commerce Ministry issued on Thursday.

As per the new price, per kilogram sugar will be sold at Tk 104 in the open market. Tk three has been decreased per kg sugar. In addition, per kg packaged sugar has been fixed at Tk 109 instead of Tk 112.
