Walton International Rating Chess Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, will begin on Monday at the BCF hall room in the capital.
A total of 120 players including grandmasters, international masters and FIDE masters will compete in the swiss league (round 9) meet. The prize money of Tk 2,00,000 will be distributed among the winners, said BCF in a press release.
