Surveying all buildings in the capital, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) will issue an alarming notice to all house owners if there are any shops or restaurants on the basement.

RAJUK Member (Development Control) Tanmoy Das confirmed the decision on Thursday.

Mentioning about the explosion of Siddique Bazar in the capital at 10:30am, Tanmoy Das told journalists that “ We will issue an alarming notice to the owners of all buildings after surveying within seven days.”

To conduct survey operation, there will be 24 sub-zones in capital.

On Tuesday evening, a powerful explosion took place in a high-storey commercial building of Siddique Bazar area. At least 20 people were killed and more than 150 were injured in the incident.
