The closing ceremony of Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College inter house annual sports competition 2023 was held at Border Guard Bangladesh sports board ground.

Around 4,000 students participated in various events in this competition. On this occasion, Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh and Chief Patron of the organization Major General A K M Nazmul Hasan, BAM, NDC, PSC as chief guest and Monowara  Nazmul as special guest distributed awards.

In his speech, the chief guest Major General A K M Nazmul Hasan said to the parents, athlete, students, teachers, officers and employees that by participating in sports, students can achieve confidence mental development and self respect.

He further said to the students, “You should be inspired by the spirit of liberation war and be united in your commitment to be engaged in the welfare of the country and nation. You should have deep love for the country and its people and for Bengali language and culture.”

Addressing the students on the occasion the Principal and the member of the Governing Body Md. Abu Sayed, PhD, AEC said that sports help to develop leadership, patience, team effort and social skills.

He also added that, “the main goal of life is to become a conscientious person. I hope that the spontaneous participation of talented students like you will play an important role in building Sonar Bangla, the dream of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Besides, Brigadier General Ali Reza Mohammad Asaduzzaman, NDC, PSC Additional Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh and President of Governing Body of the organization was present at the competition.
