Dhaka is known for abundance of mosques. In line with the aristocracy, 44 mosques have been constructed at Bashundhara Residential Area in Baridhara. All eyes are fixed on the aesthetic beauty of the mosques herein. The most exceptional is the central mosque having capacity to accommodate more than one lakh devotees who can pray together. Enriched with state-of-the-art technologies and environment-friendly facilities, the under-construction mosque is going to be the largest one in the country. The mosque is aimed at facilitating prayers of the inhabitants of Bashundhara Residential Area.

Every floor of the 10-storey building will be 50,000 square feet wide to facilitate prayers of 10,000 devotees taking a total of more than 1 lakh.

Constructed on 105 bighas of land, the mosque premises will house an Eidgah and spacious cemetery.
