“Healthy entertainment is crucial in shaping a prosperous nation. Every child deserves access to it.” Sadly, many underprivileged children in our capital lack access to healthy recreational activities. Bongo, Bangladesh's top video streaming platform, is making a difference by hosting special screenings for street children and collaborating on government-funded children's films.

Bongo and the Adventure of Sundarbans team, with actor Siam Ahmed, brought joy to over 120 underprivileged street children in the capital. They arranged a movie screening at Madhumita and Lions cinema halls for children from Anand Nibash in Mohammadpur and Vivid School in Karail. The auditorium was filled with the children's happiness.

When asked about the event, Siam said, "Nothing is as precious as the love children can give. Adventure of Sundarbans brought me closer to these children. Watching the movie with underprivileged kids, I saw their joy and excitement. They laughed, tensed up with Ratul Bhaiya, and were filled with happiness at the end. This experience will stay with them forever and bring a smile to their hearts whenever they think of it. I am grateful to the Bangladesh Government for their support, Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal for making our childhood beautiful with 'Ratuler Raat Ratuler Din'. I am also grateful to Raihan Jewel Bhai, and Bongo for this amazing opportunity. I look forward to being a part of such initiatives in the future."

Mr. Mushfiqur Rahman Monju, Chief Content Officer of Bongo, said about this heartwarming event: "Beautiful children's films not only provide healthy entertainment but also broaden the imagination of children. Bongo has always had a special attraction towards literature, which inspired us to launch Bongo BOB - Based on Books in 2021. Our film, Adventure of Sundarbans, is based on the work of renowned writer Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal. Children's films have a universal appeal. A special aspect of children's films is that children, teenagers, youth, old - audiences of all ages can enjoy it. That's why we promote healthy entertainment for kids. We want children and their parents to watch Adventure of Sundarbans. The positive response from kids and parents, wherever the movie is being released, is heartening and makes us optimistic about the future."

Recently, the beloved juvenile literature of Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal hit the theatres in the form of the children's film "Adventure of Sundarbans." Based on "Ratuler Raat Ratuler Din," the film received government funding and was co-produced by Bongo. Directed by Raihan Jewel and starring Siam-Porimoni, the film features talented child actors.
