Kaler Kantho, the leading Bangla daily, observed its 13th founding anniversary in a befitting manner on Tuesday.
Teachers, senior journalists, politicians, social workers and other walks of people participated in the anniversary programme held at its office in Bashudhara Residential Area of the capital.
The participants congratulated the daily, a concern of East West Media Group, and wished continuing success.
Like other Dhaka office of the daily, its bureau and other offices observed the anniversary.
The newspaper launched its journey on January 10, 2010 with a slogan ‘complete truth, not partial.’

Meanwhile, the 13th founding anniversary of the Kaler Kantho was observed in Chattogram on Tuesday.
Marking the founding anniversary, a gathering was arranged at the daily’s bureau office at Karnaphuli Tower in the city’s Kazir Dewri area.
Chattogram Zila Parishad Chairman ATM Pearul Islam was present as the chief guest at the programme conducted by the daily Chattogram Bureau Chief Mustafa Nayeem.
