New Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Al Hamoudi called on the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, MP at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka today.
The State Minister welcomed the New Ambassador and assured him all possible support from the Ministry.
The State Minister mentioned that the relations between Bangladesh and the UAE are becoming stronger day by day.
He expressed that during the tenure of Ambassador the bilateral relations would further expand for mutual interest.
The Ambassador highlighted for cooperation on enhancing trade and investment, air and shipping connection, agriculture, Food Security, floating based solar energy, pharmaceuticals, IT, afforestation, alliance for mangrove forest etc.
The Ambassador requested the State Minister for support of Bangladesh during COP 28 to be held in Dubai in 2023.
The State Minister emphasized for strengthening cooperation for food security and energy security between Bangladesh and the UAE.
