MOU signed between AACCI and IBCCI

An MOU has been signed on 27 November 2022 between the Asian-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI), with an address of H.K. House, Gujarat Tourism Building, Ahmedabad-380009, Gujarat, India (hereinafter referred to as the “AACCI”), and India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI), with an address of Rupayan Center (16th Floor), 72, Mohakhali C.A, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh (hereinafter referred to as the “IBCCI”) (collectively referred to as the “Parties”).

The signing ceremony has taken place at the Nitol Niloy Centre, 71, Mohakhali C.A, Dhaka-1212. On behalf of the Global Secretariat of AACCI, Mr. Sudip Kumar Jha - Member-Board Advisory & Chairman AYUSH Committee, and on behalf of the President of IBCCI Secretary General S M Abul Kalam Azad signed the MOU in the presence of the President of IBCCI Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad and Mr. Md Mamunur Rahman, President, AACCI (Bangladesh Chapter).

Among others Vice Presidents, Directors and Members of IBCCI and officials of AACCI were also present during the signing ceremony.

The purpose of the MoU is as follows:

1. That both the Chambers agreed to work jointly for the promotion and development of different kinds of events in different sectors depending upon the demands in the Bangladesh market scenario.

2. That both the Chambers need to develop, manage and execute a master event logistical plan and timeline, assign/delegate tasks to volunteer teams, evaluate, analyze and report results for the event.

3. That both Chambers need to create, manage and reconcile event budgets, expenses and timelines. Adhere to project timelines and budget guidelines for at least two major events/trade fairs and four seminars/workshops during the period 2022-2023.

4. That both chambers need to oversee the implementation of the marketing campaign. Apart from that, both chambers are responsible for leading/managing the event planning team in the planning and implementation process for all aspects of the event including attending regular meetings at the Chamber as and when required.

5. That both the Chambers need to manage and execute event debriefing, including analyzing surveys as well as recommended improvements/changes.
