Armed Police Battalion (APBn) with the help of customs officials today arrested two women with 64 gold bars worth about Taka about 3.25 crore from the Green Channel area of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), BSS reports.

Assistant Commissioner of customs Mohammad Sahiduzzaman confirmed the news saying, "Being formed, they recovered total 64 gold bars of 7.40 kgs searching the bodies of Jesmin Akhter and Jerin Begum at about 1 pm today."

The custom official said they landed here by a domestic flight from Chittagong this noon. A case was filed with Airport Police Station in this connection.
