TWINSBURG: It was like looking in a mirror - or even two - as thousands descended upon Twinsburg, Ohio, for the 40th annual Twins Days to celebrating the miracle of multiple births.
The event, which was set up in 1976, attracts twins and greater multiple siblings from across the globe - as far afield as Austrlia, India and the UK.
And with the theme to commemorate past meetings, some wild and wacky costumes were on show - not once, but twice and even more.
Jeannie DiMatteo, co-chair of the Double Take Parade, told the Hudson Hub Times : "Unlike other festivals, this one honors a very unique group of people
"A set of twins and higher multiples will have the opportunity to make new friends from across the globe who shares in that common multiple bond."

Mandy Vazquez and Liz Blower, from London, made the trip and showed their patriotic spirit by turning out in sequined Union Jack dresses to make a glittering entrance.
Mimina and Marita Meza Vergara, from Venezuela, got in the mood for a party by dressing up as red indian squaws, complete with beautiful feathered headdresses and warpaint.
But it wasn't just twins who were on show - there were triplets too.

A mystery trio in Celtic FC football tops joined an elderly pair of Minnesota Twins baseball brothers for a fantastic photo opportunity.
Other natty outfits included robots, Star Wars Jedi Knights and a pair of life-sized clocks.
