The pass percentage in Higher Secondary Examinations (HSC) in Rajshahi Education Board is 77.54.
A total of 5,250 students including 2385 girls secured GPA-5 among the total 81,330 passed students in the examination this year, BSS reports.
The board authority announced the results at a press conference in the conference hall here this noon with Shamsul Kalam Azad, Controller of Examinations of the Board in the chair. Secretary of the board Prof Abul Kalam Azad was present at the press conference, among others concerned.
The result sheet shows the number of 100 pc passed colleges is 26 while not a single student passed from five colleges.
Two physically challenged students appeared in the examination this year and both of them become successful. One of them got GPA-5.
A total of 1,04,882 students including 48,116 girls appeared in the examinations in 185 centers from 692 educational institutions in eight districts under the education board, said Prof Shamsul Kalam Azad.
Previous year's pass percentage was 78.55 while the number of GPA-5 was 7641 including 3658 girls, he added.
