Passion can take you anywhere. If you stick to something you love, at the end of the day, the result will be fruitful today or tomorrow. Starting only due to passion and dedication for the love of the game, sportswriter Saif Ahmed Chowdhury started his own personal page on Facebook named Stories with Saif. Three years later, it has become a renowned sports page in the social media and sports industry.

Saif started his own page just one month before the start of ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019. It took only a couple of months to attract the sports fanatics and he acquired a large number of followers in a short period of time. The 25-year-old is known for giving regular updates about cricket and football. He also gives his opinions regarding Bangladesh cricket and many other sporting events.

Saif started his journalism career with Bdcrictime and later, he joined Bangladesh’s first and only sports channel T Sports, which is owned by East West Media Group Ltd, a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group. But his breakthrough started when he got an opportunity to work with Bangla Tigers in Abu Dhabi T10 League in the United Arab Emirates.

Abu Dhabi T10 League is the first and only T10 league tournament that is officially approved by the International Cricket Council. He has worked for Bangla Tigers in the past two seasons as the Social Media Manager and Media Manager of the franchise team. This opened the opportunity to work alongside some of the modern-day legends like Faf du Plessis and Shakib Al Hasan.

Courtesy of this huge experience, he is now determined to work in various franchise leagues all over the world including Bangladesh’s T20 franchise league called the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL).

Saif believes in this modern era, there is a lot of room for improvement in Bangladesh when it comes to managing and creating sports content for different social media platforms. The time has come to become more ethical as a journalist too. The passionate sportswriter didn’t promise that he can make the change, but he promised that he will work for it.
