Police recovered the bodies of a man and his wife from a house in Mohammadpur’s Babar Road area of the capital on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as Noman (32) and his wife Shamima (26).

Sheikh Md Kamruzzaman, Inspector of Mohammadpur Police Station, confirmed this information to media.

He said, “Noman’s body was hanging from the ceiling while Shamima was lying on the floor”.

The inspector also said that matter is being investigated and the bodies were sent to the morgue for post-mortem.
