Daylong training for journalists held in Netrakona

A daylong training program on “Human rights journalism for the ultra poor” was held at Netrakona press club’s conference room.

Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) in cooperation with Bangladesh NGO Forum and Ministry of Finance organised the training for working journalists.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anjana Khan Mojlish inaugurated function as the chief guest while valiant Freedom Fighter and Vice President of Netrakona Press Club Haider Jahan Chowdhory was in the chair.

The inaugural function was addressed, among others, by Treasurer of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Secretary General of BMSF Khairuzzaman Kamal, News Editor of daily Our Times and Managing Committee Member of Jatiya Press Club Shanaz Begum Poly, senior journalist of daily Sun Ahamed Ullah and General Secretary of Netrakona Press Club Muklesur Rahman Khan.

Coordinator of BMSF Alpana Begum conducted it.

A total of 25 journalists of different national news papers, news agencies and electronic media participated in the training program.
