Bashundhara Group opened three new display and sales centres in Dhaka and Narayanganj to reach people with consumer goods at fare prices.

Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir, vice chairman of the country’s business conglomerate, virtually inaugurated the outlets as the chief guest being connected from Bashundhara Food and Beverage Industries in Meghnaghat in Narayanganj on Saturday, said a press release.

The group is already operating two sales centres – one is at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex at Panthapath of the capital city and another is at Edible Oil unit-1 in Keraniganj of Dhaka.

The company opened its first display and sales centre in 2021 at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-02 amid growing demand of food items during the pandemic.

Bashundhara Food and Multi Food Supply Chain Division Chief Operating Officer Abdus Shukur, Chief Finance Officer Belal Hossain, Head of Plant Operations Nazmul Habib and Secretary to Vice Chairman Mushfiqur Rahman were present on the occasion.

Head of Sales Redhwanur Rahman said the company is planning to open two more sales centres – one is at Bashundhara Food plant in Keraniganj and another is at Bashundhara LP Gas plant in Mongla by the end of the year.

He said that Bashundhara Group is moving forward with a plan to launch such display and sales centres at upazila level across the country.

These display and sales centres have a vast collection of Bashundhara food products including essential consumer items and essential gas products to make purchasing convenient for the customers.

Daily-use products like flour, atta, semolina, soybean oil, lentil, spices, noodles, pasta, chips, vermicelli, puffed rice, ready-made bread, tissue and LPG are available at the centres at fair price.
