Three persons including a woman were killed and  10 others injured in a collision between two buses in Sherpur upazila of the  district this afternoon. 

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

In-charge of Sherpur Highway police camp Baniul Anam said the accident occurred on Ghoga Bridge on the Dhaka-Bogura Highway around 3:30 pm. 

The ill-fated persons died on the spot and the wounded were admitted to  Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, he said, adding: "Two injured  were in critical condition," Baniul Anam added.

Police seized both the vehicles. 

A case is being processed to file in this connection.
