The Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka with the help of the Thai community in Bangladesh has taken a project to extend their hands for supporting the flood victims in northern region.
As part of a friendly gesture Thai Ambassador Makawadee Sumitmor, along with Team Thailand officials and family members, organised the Royal Thai Volunteer Project on Tuesday to provide emergency relief to flood-affected people in northern Bangladesh through Help Foundation.

The foundation’s representatives led by Md Emran Hossain, Director for Fundraising and International Communication, received a donation of Tk 65,500 and relief goods contributed by the Thai Community in Dhaka.
These include rice, lentils, drinking water, cooking oil, sanitary napkins, medicines and medical items and clothes, among others.
The Help Foundation was established in 2010, with the objective to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development in healthcare and education.
Currently, approximately 80 volunteer workers are helping flood victims in northern Bangladesh under the foundation.
