The movement of inter-district motorcycle has been restricted for seven days (from July 7 to July 13)  before and after the Eid-ul-Azha.

The decision came after banning motorbikes on the Padma Bridge and Dhaka-Mawa expressway. 

The government took the decision at an emergency meeting held at the Road Transport Ministry at the Secretariat in the capital on Sunday ( July 3).

It would not possible to ply motorcycle outside of the district where the vehicle was registered.
