Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her son from their home in Araihazar upazila in Narayanganj on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Razia Sultana Kakoli, 42, wife of late Awal Nabi, and their son Talha, 8.

Azizul Haque Hawlader, officer-in-charge (OC) of Araihazar Police Station, said locals spotted the bodies inside a house at Ujan Gobindpur area of the upazila and infirmed police station.

Police rushed to the spot and recovered the throat slit bodies of Kakoli and Nabi, he said, adding that the matter is being investigated.
