Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has suspended activities of the Osmani International Airport in Sylhet due to massive flood in the area.
Hafiz Ahmed, manager of Sylhet Osmani International Airport, confirmed the matter on Friday (17 June).
He said, "Shoulders of runway had already sunk under water along with many appliances. Due to this, the activities of the airport have been temporarily closed for three days. Next decision will be announced after monitoring the situation."
