43rd BCS written test begins July 24

The date for the written test of 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination has been announced.

From July 24 to September 7, the written examinations of general, technical/professional cadres of the BCS examination will be held in phases.   

A notification signed by Abdullah Al Mamun, Controller of Examination (cadre) of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), revealed this development on Monday. 

The notification said the written test of 43rd BCS is going to start from July 24. That day, the test will be held on English from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Candidates of general and technical or professional cadres will appear the test. The test of general knowledge (Bangladesh affairs) on July 25, international affairs on July 26, mathematical reasoning on July 27, general science and technology on July 28 and Bangla (for technical cadre) on July 31. Later, different examinations for the technical or professional cadres will begin on September 5.  

Earlier on January 20, the results of preliminary test was published. Some 15,229 candidates qualified the test. Four lakh candidates took part in it. The preliminary examination of 43rd BCS was held on October 29, last year in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh centres of the country.
