Bashundhara Media Award-2021 ceremony was held at ICCB in the capital on Monday giving birth to some rare precedence.

At the outset of the programme, the national anthem was played and everybody stood up. They also sang anthem in chorus.

Hailing from 64 districts, the renowned and senior journos participated in the event.

An emotional atmosphere was created following cry of an interior journalist.

Md Sanaullah, a journalist from Rajbari, turned so emotional during the national anthem that he burst into tears.

The other participants were driven by the feelings which swept the programme venue.
