Dhaka’s rail communication with North Bengal has been halted following derailment of  two compartments of a Dhaka-bound train named ‘Panchagarh Express’ in Gazipur.

Due to derailment of coaches, the passengers of this route are facing sufferings.

The incident happened in Mouchak area of Kaliakair of Gazipur at 10:00pm on Friday (May 27).  

Rezaul Islam, in-charge of Joydevpur railway junction, confirmed the matter.
