An international seminar was held at Bangamata Sheikh Fajilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University (BSFMSTU). The seminar was organised by the Fisheries Department of the University on Tuesday (May 24) morning in the conference room of the Academic Building.
Syed Samsuddin Ahmed, PhD, Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University was present as the chief guest. He called upon the researchers to work for the development of fisheries and agriculture in the country.
On the other hand, the director and in-charge of the Grameen Development Trust of India (New Delhi) Mr. Devatanu Barman spoke about the potential aspects of fisheries and agriculture in Bangladesh.
Dr. Abdus Satter, Chairman and Assistant Professor of Fisheries Dept. presided over the seminer. Prof. Dr Sushanta Kumar Bhattyacharjee spoke as a special guest at the seminar.
