Ace Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is likely to skip the upcoming three-match ODI series against West Indies in Guyana, scheduled in July.
The Daily Sun learnt that Shakib informed the board of his desire of skipping the last segment of the West Indies tour as the series is not part of the ICC World Cup Super League.
Bangladesh are expected to leave Dhaka on June 6 for the tour comprising two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.
According to the draft itinerary, the opening Test will be played in Antigua on June 16-20 while the second Test will be played in St Lucia on June 24-28.
The opening two T20Is will be played in Dominica respectively on July 2 and 3 while the third will be played in Guyana on July 7.
Guyana will also host the three ODIs, scheduled on July 10, 13 and 16 respectively.
