A Khulna court on Sunday sentenced two members of the banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to 20 years rigorous imprisonment under the Explosives Substances Act.

The convicts are identified as Nur Mohammad Anik and Md Mozahidul Islam Rafi.

Judge SM Ashikur Rahman of Khulna Additional Sessions Judge's Court pronounced the verdict in presence of the convicts.

The court also fined themTk one lakh, in default of which they will have to serve six months more in jail.

Advocate Kazi Sabbir Ahmed confirmed the information to media.
