Nazmus Sakib wins ‘SA Regional Countries Brilliance Award’

Dr Nazmus Sakib, a promising Bangladeshi pediatrician, has received the “South Asian Regional Countries Brilliance Award 2022” from the city of SAARC Headquarters in Nepal.

Among 6500 nominees from the SAARC countries, only 100 were selected in which he was in the top 20s, said a press release.

He was honored with this international award for his outstanding contribution to the health sector during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The programme was held on April 16 at Nepal Tourism Board Auditorium in Kathmandu and was presented by the World Book of Star Records.

Sujata Koirala, former deputy prime minister of Nepal, Indra Bahadur Thapa, president of National People’s Party, Dr Dinesh Upadhyay, former member of Ministry of Ayush Government of India, Dr Rajib Pal,  founder director of World Book of Star Records, Santashree Bhattacharya,  celebrity singer and brand ambassador of World Book of Star Records, and Siddhi Johra, winner of Mrs India International 2019 and National Brand Ambassador for Women Empowerment and Health Education of India.

Dr Nazmus Sakib has participated in many international trainings on Covid-19, including the World Health Organization and Harvard University Medical School.
