Ananta Jalil, Barsha at Cannes Film Festival

The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will kick off on Tuesday. Popular Bangladeshi actor, producer, and director Ananta Jalil and his wife actress Afia Nusrat Barsha went to France to take part in the 75th Cannes Film Festival, the world's largest film festival.

Anant Jalil confirmed the news in a status posted on his official Facebook page.

The actor said, “We will show the trailers of our movies 'Din-The Day' and 'Netri-The Leader' during the festval. We will also meet producers and journalists from different countries. Our movie 'Din-The Day' will be released in Eid-ul-Adha”.

'Din the Day' is a joint production of Bangladesh and Iran. It is directed by Ananta Jalil and Iranian producer Murtaza Atash Zamzam.
