Road accidents kill 2 motorcycle riders in Manikganj

Two motorcycle riders were killed and two others injured in two separate road accidents in Manikganj.

 
Police said motorcycle rider Firoj Ahmed, 28, died on the spot around 10 am when a triangle collision between a truck, motorcycle and a CNG-run auto- rickshaw occurred in Betila-Mitora area on the Hemayetpur-Manikganj Regional Highway under Manikganj sadar upazila.

Feroj was the son of Mojibur Rahman of Orangabad village under Betila-Mitora union in Manikganj sadar upazila and also a SSC exam candidate for this year.
 
Besides, other two injured co-rider of the motorcycle were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in critical conditions.
 
Meanwhile, motorcycle rider Md. Mahim, 25, son of Abdul Alim of Golora Charkhonda village under Jagir union of Manikganj sadar upazila, was crushed under the wheel of a passengers' bus on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway and died on the spot.
 
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Golora Highway Police Monirul Islam confirmed.
 
The body was sent to Manikganj 250-bed hospital morgue, the OC added.
