Bangladesh Archery Federation passed a packed schedule last year as it participated and hosted in several important competitions on both national and international stages including Tokyo Olympics, World Archery Championships, Asian Championship and Bangabandhu Bangladesh Games.
The federation will also take the same schedule this year as they are going to take part in several important international events Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and ISSF International Solidarity Archery Championships.
A total of 23 judges – 18 men and 5 women – have been participating there which will end today. BAF general secretary Kazi Razibuddin Ahmed Chapal formally inaugurated the course as the chief guest.
“We have several important competitions on both national and international stages this year. The team will start their campaign with a national event in March, but our activities have already started with the judges refreshers course,” BAF Convenor of Media, Publication and Public Relation Committee Rafiqul Islam Tipu said.
“We have also several important events -- Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, ISSF – as like last year. If the Covid situation remains under control worldwide, the team will have several tours. The team are currently taking preparations at the camp,” Tipu told The Daily Sun on Friday.
