A man was killed after he was allegedly pushed out by the conductor of a bus during an argument over fare in capital’s Wari area on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Irfan (48), employee of an electrical appliance shop in Nawabpur.
Irfan fell on the road after the conductor pushed him off the running bus near Joy Kali Temple following an altercation at 11:00am.
Irfan was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition where doctors declared him dead at 12:45pm, he said.
Police are investigating the incident and the body was sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy, he added.
