Technical committee gives 5 recommendations including free mask distribution

The National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 has given five suggestions to the government, including a proposal to distribute free masks, to check the spread of Covid-19 infection.
A notification signed by Prof Dr Md. Shahidullah, chairperson of the technical committee, revealed this information on Wednesday night.
In the recommendations, it has been stated that Covid-19 patients will stay in isolation for first 10 days after developing symptoms, quarantine is not required for a person who has come in contact with a Covid-19 patient and has no symptoms, but of course will have to wear tight mask.
It has been asked the DGHS to enhance the monitoring in all port of entries, including airports.
Ensuring emergency treatment for Covid-19 and non-Covid-19 patients round the clock in all public hospitals.
Taking steps for the implementation of the gazette notification issued by the Cabinet by involving all stakeholders including the leaders of Transport Owners Association, Shop Owners Association, Restaurant Owners Association.
