Firefighters doused a blaze after it broke out at the Cabin No. 109 on the 10th floor of the new building of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

The fire broke out around 5:55 pm on Wednesday and caused smoke inside the Cabin. Four units of firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 6:12 pm, said fire service control room media officer Raihan.

Earlier, on March 17, a fire broke out at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital's Corona Unit. At that time, three people died during the transfer of patients.
