Turkish interior minister Suleyman Soylu is set to arrive in Dhaka today (Saturday).
During his visit, Bangladesh and Turkey may sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation in the areas of security and containing terrorism.
Suleyman Soylu is coming on a brief one-day visit at the invitation of home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
He will be visiting Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar as Turkey extends humanitarian support to displaced people from Myanmar.
The deal on containing terrorism between the police forces of the two countries is likely to be inked, sources said.
