Rail communication on the Dinajpur route remained suspended following derailment of an express train at Parbatipur rail crossing in Parbatipur upazila.
Four bogies of Dolonchapa Express veered off the tracks around 4am after a crash with a stationary truck on the train tracks, Shahidul Islam, station master of Chirirbandar railway station, said.
