IGP Cup Nat’l Youth Kabaddi final phase starts on Wednesday

The final phase of IGP Cup National Youth Kabaddi Championship (U-19) begins today (Wednesday) at the Paltan Maidan in the capital.
Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Benazir Ahmed will inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
A total of 32 teams from 8 zones – 16 boys teams and 16 girls teams -- will participate in the final phase which will end on January 4.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation informed the best players of the competition will be trained under a foreign coach in a long-term preparation camp for the upcoming U-21 World Cup.
Earlier, a total of 50,052 boys from 58 districts and a total of 46,764 girls from 51 districts, spilt into 8 zones, took part in the preliminary phase of the event.
